Alyssa Basiliere (she/her) is a clinical social worker with many years of experience working with teenagers and adults of all ages in a variety of settings. Alyssa finds the therapeutic relationship to be most important, creating a comfortable and genuine space for individual clients to be themselves, identify their own goals and strengths, and learn tools for long lasting healing. To support the client's journey, Alyssa uses these evidence-based therapy practices: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and narrative therapy.

Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and longboarding around the world and in Vermont with her son, husband, and dog. Alyssa's love of traveling led her to live in Thailand for 8 months where she developed an appreciation for incorporating mindfulness into her sessions.

Areas of Expertise: Alyssa specializes in supporting people with PTSD and other trauma-related disorders, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder and addiction, and disordered eating.
