Alysia Belle, M.S.Ed.
Training: M.S.Ed. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University; Ph.D. in School Psychology (anticipated 2026) from Texas A&M University.
Alysia Belle offers psychotherapy and psychoeducational services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Drawing on over a decade of experience as a public school teacher, she brings a deep understanding of the unique needs of youth and families. Alysia is a New York state certified school psychologist currently completing her predoctoral internship.
Alysia provides a warm, accepting, and client-centered environment in therapy. She works from a holistic, trauma-informed lens and tailors her therapeutic approach to meet clients where they are. Alysia specializes in helping individuals who are struggling with feeling sad or hopeless, feeling too worried or scared, having a hard time focusing (such as with ADHD), problems in their family relationships, hurting themselves on purpose, feeling very sad after a loss, or having troubles at school or with friends. She has experience with play therapy and other types of counseling specifically geared towards young children. Alysia also provides support and guidance for parents, with a particular focus on helping parents of children with special needs.
Dedicated to promoting health equity, Alysia has actively worked to enhance access to mental health services for underserved youth and families in the Brazos Valley, Texas, as a graduate student fellow. She is an LGBTQ+ affirming provider and welcomes clients of all backgrounds.
Alysia is a student member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP). In her free time, Alysia enjoys exploring the Capital Region’s museums and attractions, and she likes to stay active outdoors by biking on the Mohawk-Hudson trail.
